Forex reserves down $3.6 billion at $346.8 b

 FINTHOUGHTS:

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India's foreign exchange reserves fell $3.58 billion in the week ended February 26 to $346.79 billion.

A section of the market considers FII (foreign institutional investors) outflows as the major reason for the fall in the foreign exchange reserves. As per NSDL data, the total outflows from India has been worth almost $2 billion over the month of February.
